230 V AC mains voltage presence sensor (DIN version)

Sensor designed for mounting on a DIN rail in an electrical switchboard.
It provides a simple indication of the presence of a 230 V AC mains supply voltage in the monitored circuit.
Particularly useful in installations equipped with uninterruptible power supplies (UPS), where it is important to detect a loss of mains power.

The sensor uses an optical detection method, which ensures full galvanic isolation between the 230 V power supply and the information output.

Output signal (for direct connection to the INPD/iD logical input in tcPDU or LK devices):

  • 230 V power supply present - low logical state (0), approx. 0.1 V
  • 230 V power supply absent - high logical state (1), approx. 2.4 V

This relationship can be easily used to configure notifications in the "Events" tab in tcPDU or LK devices.
